Runes
Runes arrived with v26.0.0. There are 115 of them across four types and eight grades, and every number on this page — the unique effect, the level-up cost, the milestones, the dismantle return and the drop rates — is read straight from the game's own tables.
The eight grades
A rune's grade sets its ceiling. Grade also decides the frame art around its icon.
All runes
Cost to max, by grade
Levelling a rune costs Rune Dust plus BlueStone, and the price table is keyed by the rune's type as well as its grade.
Where runes come from — Tomb of Heroes
Runes drop inside the Tomb of Heroes by rune difficulty (1–20) and by the kind of enemy you kill.
Where these numbers come from (and what we can't know yet)
- Types and grades come from
RuneTypeDataandRuneGradeData. Grades map one-to-one onto the game's rarity ladder (1 Normal … 8 Exotic) and cap at 10, 20, 30 … 80. - HERO Runes are the ones with a written effect — the game stores a
description per hero (
RUNE_DESC_*) and the rune only buffs that hero's unique skill. Normal runes (melee, ranged, universal) have no description: their effect is a single flat stat (option_type, e.g. SWORD DAMAGE) scaled by the level, which is what this page shows. - Unique effects are the game's own description strings
(
RUNE_DESC_*). The{0}placeholder is filled fromRuneUniqueOptionDataasbase + per-level × (level − 1)— a reconstruction, since the game computes it at runtime. The surrounding text, including any fixed bonus, is verbatim. - Milestones are
RuneLevelBonusGroupData: a named option every 20 levels, andgrants 1 random attributeevery other 10 — that second string is the game's own wording for those rows, so the attribute itself is rolled at runtime. Thevalueshown for named options is stored raw. - Costs are
RuneLevelCostData; the row at level L is the price of going L → L+1, so "cost to max" sums the rows below the cap. Dismantle returns areRuneBreakRewardData. - Icons: HERO Runes use the hero's own portrait (the game points them at
Costume_Face/Face_Skin_*), the other three types have dedicated rune art. One of them — the Wand Rune's — is not in the APK: it belongs to a bundle the client downloads at runtime, so it shows a placeholder until we can pull that bundle. - Tomb difficulties 1–20 are real rows; the drop percentages are the stored per-10,000 rates.
