The Growth ladder, decoded
Hero Collection has two tabs, and the second one is the quiet one. Collection pays the 184 set bonuses; Growth — the screen players keep posting in Discord to ask "how do I win these prizes?" — is a fixed 53-rung ladder of account-wide stat bonuses that unlocks as your heroes' star grades climb. Below is every rung, the one or two bonuses it pays, and a decode of every option code the cards print.
How the star total moves
The number under the star icon at the top of the Growth tab is not a currency you spend — it is the sum of every owned hero's star grade.
- Each hero carries its own ★ ladder, six grades deep
(
CostumeStarGradeOptionData: 156 rows = 26 hero groups × 6 grades). The first star is priced at exactly that hero's recruit cost (10, 30, 50, 70, 100 shards depending on the hero), and the five grades above it cost 30, 60, 150, 300, 600 shards for every hero alike. So a hero you already own is already worth its first star, and every star after that is a flat shard step. - Six is the cap for all 26 heroes (
CostumeData.Max_Gradeis 6 across the whole roster), which is exactly why the ladder tops out at 156★: 26 × 6 = 156. The last rung is not a prestige number — it needs every hero in the game at 6★. - Nothing has to be won. There is no roll, box or timer on this track; the rungs
are thresholds you cross, then Claim by hand. Hero chests and the
hero step-up packs change how
fast you climb, not what the rungs pay. The screen itself opens once you clear quest
168 (
ContentUnlockData/OpenCostumeCodex).
Reading the screen
| On screen | What it means |
|---|---|
| ★ number, top centre | Your current star total (sum of hero star grades). |
Growth: 15/53 | Rungs claimed / rungs in the ladder. It never goes down. |
| Gold check + Collected | That rung is claimed and its bonus is live. |
| Green Claim | Threshold met, bonus waiting — tap it. |
| Grey Claim + padlock | Not reached yet. It is a preview of what is next, not a missed reward. |
All 53 rungs
Every threshold, in order, with the exact card text the game prints. Values are stored as whole percents. 6 rungs pay a single bonus; the other 47 pay a pair. Rows shaded amber are the weapon-class block (126★ – 141★).

The labels, decoded
The cards use the game's short hero-bonus wording. Here is each code the ladder pays, the card text, the stat the game names it after, and who it lands on — the track itself is account-wide, but the weapon and attack-type bonuses only feed the heroes that use them.
| Code | On the card | The stat it names | Applies to |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Attack Power Up | Total Attack Power | All heroes |
| 2 | Critical Damage Up | Critical Damage | All heroes |
| 5 | HP Up | Max HP | All heroes |
| 6 | HP Recovery Up | Health Recovery | All heroes |
| 9 | Critical Rate Up | Critical Chance | All heroes |
| 11 | Cargo Up | Cargo Capacity | Whole account |
| 12 | Skill Damage Up | Skill Damage | Skill damage |
| 15 | Gold Gain Up | Gold Gain | Whole account |
| 16 | EXP Gain Up | EXP Gain | Whole account |
| 18 | Enemy Heal Down | Healing Reduction on Hit | Triggers on hit |
| 19 | Ranged DMG Up | Ranged Weapon Damage | Ranged heroes |
| 20 | Melee DMG Up | Melee Weapon Damage | Melee heroes |
| 21 | Status Resist Up | Status Effect Resistance | All heroes |
| 22 | Basic Atk Up | Basic Attack | Basic attacks |
| 23 | Dagger Attack Power | Dagger weapon damage | Dagger heroes |
| 24 | Sword Attack Power | Sword weapon damage | Sword heroes |
| 25 | Morningstar Attack Power | Morningstar weapon damage | Morningstar heroes |
| 26 | Gun Attack Power | Gun weapon damage | Gun heroes |
| 27 | Wand Attack Power | Wand weapon damage | Wand heroes |
| 28 | Crossbow Attack Power | Crossbow weapon damage | Crossbow heroes |
The rest of the vocabulary: the option pool has
8 more codes this ladder never pays (Life Steal Up, Skill Cooldown Reduce, Evasion Up, Move Speed Up, Attack Speed Up, Multi-Attack Up, Triple Attack Up, Enhanced Atk Up) — they
roll on hero traits, runes and weapon bonus options instead.
The six weapon-class rows are the one family without a hero-bonus label key;
for those the table prints the stat name StatData gives the code,
which is the wording the game's stat screens use.
What the whole ladder is worth
Add every rung up and the track pays this much, per stat. The biggest single pile is HP Recovery Up at +110% across 7 rungs.
| Code | Bonus | Rungs | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | HP Recovery Up | 7 | +110% |
| 12 | Skill Damage Up | 5 | +98% |
| 19 | Ranged DMG Up | 8 | +86% |
| 20 | Melee DMG Up | 7 | +86% |
| 22 | Basic Atk Up | 7 | +79% |
| 2 | Critical Damage Up | 9 | +66% |
| 18 | Enemy Heal Down | 9 | +44% |
| 15 | Gold Gain Up | 7 | +32% |
| 21 | Status Resist Up | 7 | +32% |
| 11 | Cargo Up | 6 | +30% |
| 16 | EXP Gain Up | 6 | +29% |
| 23 | Dagger Attack Power | 1 | +28% |
| 24 | Sword Attack Power | 1 | +28% |
| 25 | Morningstar Attack Power | 1 | +28% |
| 26 | Gun Attack Power | 1 | +28% |
| 27 | Wand Attack Power | 1 | +28% |
| 28 | Crossbow Attack Power | 1 | +28% |
| 1 | Attack Power Up | 6 | +16% |
| 5 | HP Up | 7 | +16% |
| 9 | Critical Rate Up | 3 | +3% |
Shape of the ladder
- Front-loaded breadth. The first 26 rungs spread thin across combat, survival and economy stats — 1★ to 75★ is a mixed bag, and no single bonus on that half is worth more than +14%.
- The weapon block. 126★ – 141★ pays one rung per weapon class — Crossbow Attack Power · Dagger Attack Power · Gun Attack Power · Morningstar Attack Power · Sword Attack Power · Wand Attack Power — each at +28%, so no weapon class gets a better rung than another.
- The finale. After the weapon block the ladder returns to broad stats and ends at 156★ on the two weapon-wide damage rates — Melee and Ranged — as the send-off for a maxed collection.
- It is not the collection sets. The set bonuses (184 of them) pay on membership; this ladder pays on total stars. They stack, and both are permanent account buffs.
Where these numbers come from (and how the labels were proven)
Everything on this page is read from the v27.0.0 tables at build
time — CostumeCodexStarGradeData for the rungs,
CostumeData and CostumeStarGradeOptionData for the
156★ ceiling, RuneOptionTypeData for the option ids,
TraitOptionTypeData and StatData for the stat names,
and Locale for the English wording. Nothing is transcribed by hand
except the six anchors below.
The ids are the game's shared option vocabulary, and the data does spell it
out: RuneOptionTypeData carries all 28 codes with a name key, from
1 TOTAL POWER through 22 BASIC ATTACK to 23–28 for the six weapon classes. The
Growth cards print the hero-bonus wording for the same ids, which is what these
six cards off the live screen prove — the build asserts the tables still render
exactly this text, so a reshuffled id fails the build instead of publishing a
wrong label.
| Rung | Card text on the live screen |
|---|---|
| 42★ | Basic Atk Up +10% / Attack Power Up +2% |
| 39★ | Melee DMG Up +6% / Gold Gain Up +2% |
| 36★ | Enemy Heal Down +3% / Cargo Up +3% |
| 33★ | Enemy Heal Down +3% |
| 45★ | Critical Damage Up +5% |
| 48★ | Ranged DMG Up +7% / EXP Gain Up +3% |
Where the two vocabularies word one stat differently the page prints the card wording and the trait table's long name — the option pool calls code 7 DODGE and the card calls it Evasion Up, code 11 is BAG on the pool and Cargo Up on the card.
